Over a century of EXPERTISE
Connected to our land and its natural ingredients since 1890. From our first Limoncello recipe to the latest Villa Massa creations, immerse yourself in our history.
1890

Our beginnings
In 1890, the Massa family created a refreshing home-made recipe that started our Limoncello.

Love for our land
Following our ancestors’ original recipe, we use gentle picking methods to keep our fruit pristine while respecting our land and its seasonal harvest cycles.
1991

Better shared
Brothers Sergio and Stefano Massa decided to share a little taste of Sorrento with the globe. In 1991, Villa Massa became the first company to produce and sell Italian Limoncello all over the world.

Our light-filled lemon groves
Introducing the Limone Ovale di Sorrento: a variety of lemon that’s exclusively grown in the Sorrento peninsula and on the island of Capri. PGI-certified, it’s widely recognised as the best lemon in the world.

A taste of nature
Driven by our passion for tradition and excellence, Villa Massa has become the world’s leading brand for premium Limoncello. We’re proud to be recognised for our uniquely authentic flavour.
"what makes our people special is their passion for preserving the essence of their land."

Enjoyed worldwide
Villa Massa has grown into a successful brand, and our Limoncello is the jewel in our crown. Offering an authentic taste of Italy, it’s now available in over 40 countries.

Following tradition
Today, Villa Massa continues to use the same natural ingredients and traditional methods, for the highest quality drinks.
"Villa Massa bottles the excellence and freshness of italy’s good food and drink, in a natural yet sophisticated way."
